Rising/Sundown Warrior guided by Ferron

In this class you will tap into your inner peaceful warrior. This is an exploration in combining breath, movement and meditation playful, with a lively playlist of music to lead the way. Students will be guided through a combination of postures and deep relaxation that frees the body and mind of tension. This class tends to bring the heat but in a way that allows each student to recognize the unique needs of their body, occassionally utilizing props and The Great Yoga WallTM

 

Yoga Newbie guided by Dr. Kecia

New to Yoga? Want to build your foundation? This class is deisgned for you. Learn basic yoga postures, breathing techniques (pranayama) and guidelines for a healthier more balanced life. You will build strength and flexibility while decreasing stress and realigning your body.  

 

Morning Glow Yoga Wall guided by Malaika 

This class is a midmorning treat for the body and mind that seeks to leave your spirit aglow. With a mixture of vinyasa flow, the Great Yoga WallTM and restorative techniques this session focuses on re-energizing the mind and body. It becomes meditation in motion as you learn how to challenge yourself in healthy ways to both develop strength and agility while learning to release unnecessary tension. 

 

Slow & Steady Chair Yoga guided by Malaika 

This 45 minute class is a pay-by-donation session designed with seniors at heart. Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunties and Uncles from around the community come together for a class focused on breathing, body awareness and gentle yoga poses that support bone health, range of motion and mental health.

 

Breathe & Release guided by Dr. Kecia

This Purna Yoga class are a gentle but powerful alignment-based practice that incorporates props such as belts, blocks and The Great Yoga WallTM system to help students maintain correct position while doing the asanas to facilitate proper energy flow throughout the body. The Asanas consists of various stretches, twists, back bends , forward bends, openings and strengthening  movements to  help the body become more flexible, balanced, toned and strong.
